Phaneesh Murthy, President and Chief Executive Officer of iGATE Corporation, brings more than two decades of experience in structuring and managing large outsourcing deals for Fortune 500 companies. He is a well-known thought leader in the offshore outsourcing space, having pioneered innovative business models such as iGATE's integrated Technology and Operations (iTOPS) model as well as unique service offerings in technology and process outsourcing. He has overseen the evolution of iGATE from a staffing firm to a software solutions provider with a global presence. His global experience includes taking two separate organizations public, in two different markets.

Prior to iGATE, Phaneesh founded Quintant, a pioneer of Business Services Provisioning with a global services model, which he successfully developed and sold to iGATE in 2003.  Prior to Quintant, Phaneesh was a member of the Board and Worldwide Head of Sales and Marketing for Infosys, as well as its Head of Communications and Product Solutions group.  He was responsible for driving the company's growth in revenue from $2 million in 1992 to $700 million over his 10 years at Infosys. Earlier he worked at Sonata Software.

Phaneesh holds Degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology and Indian Institute of Management.
