The minimum qualification required is a Bachelor’s or a Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science or  Technology, an MCA or an equivalent qualification to become a software professional at iGATE.

For entry level positions, we recruit from leading engineering colleges and technical institutes.

For positions in the management stream, we require that applicants have an MBA Degree or an equivalent business management diploma from a reputed business school.

The recruitment process begins with the short-listing of candidates based on their qualifications and work experience. This is followed by a technical interview for the technical positions.

In addition, candidates applying for entry level positions are required to take a written test. Selection is based on school or college grades and performance in the written test.

iGATE offers relocation assistance to those employees who need to relocate to their  place of posting. It includes cash assistance proportional to the responsibility band or recruitment level. Reimbursement of actual expense incurred, upto the IInd AC railway fare, is also considered for candidates who need to relocate.

iGATE has a regular bus service which provides pick up and drop to employees from scheduled stops within the city. In addition to the above, cab facilities are also available to the employees working beyond normal work hours.
